SIRESA offers know-how and experience in environmental consultancy and in communication activities and environmental education to public and private entities, for participation in the creation of a better environment for living.
Ecomanagement services provides solutions in fields related to sustainability and respect for the environment, and specially in management of municipal residues.
Since 2004, SIRESA has carried out the environmental awareness campaign for respect and conservation of Barcelona beaches.

Inspection and control
Inspection and monitoring of the selective management of residues for commercial activities in Barcelona city.
Training and communication
The training and communication services includes the following services:

Training activities: conferences about residue management and good environmental practice, as well as guided visits to Collection Centres, adapted to different collectives.

Environmental education and communication actuations.

Citizen awareness campaigns like the environmental awareness campaign in the Barcelona beaches, and the campaign for reduction of noise caused by night-life.
Environmental projects
The projects service includes management of the following activities:

Technical support: technical assessment in the field of residues management and execution of projects.

Citizen services office for the Barcelona Household Waste Collection Tax. The fee for the collection of municipal waste generated in private homes is an environmental tax intended for the correct management of household waste generated in the city of Barcelona.

Reservation centre for the Metropolitan Education Programme for Sustainability “Compartim un futur”. This Programme promotes activities and guided visits to installations of the metropolitan area adapted to different collectives.
